Scholarships

 

As an MSV Member, you are exclusively entitled to enter the many scholarships throughout the year.

Here is the basic information.

12 & Under Awards - piano, wind, strings (entries close March 29th)

15 & Under Awards - piano, wind, strings (entries close March 29th)

18 & Under Awards - piano, wind & brass, strings (entries close March 29th) - vocal (age 12-18) (entries close June 30th)

Chamber Music Award - 23 & Under (entries close May 3rd) ($500 & $300)

Armstead Singing Awards - 19-30 (prize $1000)

Hephzibah Menuhin Memorial Awards - 25 & U - piano, wind & brass, strings (prize - $750 per instrument section)

3MBS FM Victorian Young Performer Award - chosen from Hepzibah winners

Fine Music Australia Young Performer Award - chosen from interstate MBS winners

Overseas Scholarships (open to members with MSV for more than 5 years)

David Henkels Composition Award - 30 & Under $1000

 

 

Competitions

 We encourage our performers to enter competitions and have a separate mailing list for our members to keep them up to date with any competitions we hear about.
